Do you remember that classic scene from Snow White where she opens the windows, sings, and all the forest animals just come to her and they immediately become friends? If you're a millennial or older, you surely do. We always admired Disney's kindness to nature, and secretly, we always wished to be a Disney princess so we could be friends with all the woodland creatures. However, it doesn't take a Disney princess to simply be kind to nature, and this wholesome man proves it.
He lives in near Yellowstone Park, and not only did he see a momma birth two baby fawns in his backyard, he also saw the mom abandon one of them because it was having trouble walking. Out of the kindness of his pawsitive hooman heart, he took the fawn in, rehabilitated it, and they even made friends with all of his own pets! After the fawn was all better, he even reunited the fawn with her mother. It sounds too good to be true, but in this case, it actually isn't. Scroll down to see pictures documenting the whole story and we wish you a very pawsitive week, deer.
Well, it was just born! Give it a few minutes to get used to walking, jeez. Some of us are slow learners, but we all get it eventually. Although, we do learn later that there was actually something wrong with its legs. Don't worry, there's a happy ending coming!
Nature can be harsh sometimes. In fact, it's harsh a lot of the time, that's the rule of evolution - only the strongest survive. Luckily, hoomans can help mitigate that a little bit with some kindness and a lot of determination!
