Good meowrning, friends! We know that it's been a long week. We know that you need a break. And we know that everyone could use some pawsitivity right meow. It's a good thing then that it is officially time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every Friday morning, we bring you a wholesome new collection of the cutest cat adoption stories on the web. We do it because we know that even during the most difficult of times, seeing cats find their furrever homes will put a smile on all of our faces.
As we always do, we want to say thank you to each and every single person that adopted this week, and, as always, we want to give a huge shout out to those of you who adopted the "impurrfect" kitties - the senior cats, the sick cats, the cats that have been rehomed a few times. Things may not always be the easiest with them, but every meowment with them will be worth it. We wish you all many happy and healthy years together!
"Adopted this one eared kitten that was found covered in blood along side the road after having his ear and drum ripped out. Welcome home Vincent (van Gogh). We call him Vinnie too… I spoil him as often as possible! He loves to sleep around me as much as he can during the day :) especially at my work desk!"
"This is Peter Cottontail, aka Peter Pumpkin Eater, aka Petey Petes, aka STOP BITING MY TOES YOU B*STARD. Rescued in May. I specifically requested "no kitten energy." He's a demon from Hades and a total goober. We built a screened-in catio out of our porch to try buy back our sanity. He's bigger than our dog. We love him to bits."
"Hi! Looking for advice. We just rescued a kitten he's so cute apparently he's 7-8 weeks old. He's doing so well socializing great and eating wet food plus we have a dog and he's already bonded with her. My question is, is it too much to leave him home alone for 8 hours? I work 8-3 and I'm worried. What should I do? Any advice? I kitten proofed everything and stuff just worried about things I've been reading online."
"Adopted that kitter directly from the street this Monday, 6 weeks old max, 1 pound in weight, got flees and worms, but in other ways - healthy! Been to vet already, got meds and instructions. Anyways, her name is Rosehip and she sounds like a creaky door."
