Ah yes, the city of dreams! It never sleeps, and pizza is always cheap. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere! One of the first-level bosses you have to get through, however, that you don't know about until you move here? THE FRIGGIN' SUBWAY SYSTEM. Not only does the signage feel like it is purposefully trying to confuse you, most of the trains are always experiencing SOMETHING—delays, malfunctions, cancellations, you name it! You left an hour early to make it to that Broadway musical you've been looking forward to for months? SORRY, WE'RE SKIPPING YOUR STOP. Do you know how many times I've ended up in Manhattan because they mumbled something unintelligible when I was just trying to go from Myrtle-Wyckoff to Bedford Ave?? If you are a New Yorker, then you get it. It's not just the characters you're standing shoulder to shoulder to that you have to look forward to, it's the trains ALWAYS disappointing you.
