It's not easy being a parent, but in our society, but a mom feels even harder. You're expected to give birth, heal your body that just pushed out a literal human that was made out of your literal body parts, look pretty, act happy, and be a superwoman. What is up with that?? It is SO much pressure and adds to the exhaustion that is already at its highest level due to the new baby. We are here to tell you, Mom, that you are doing a great job. It's ok if there's a lollipop stuck to your hair and your kid is wearing two different shoes. You pour all your love over them and do your best, that is all you can ask for in a parent.
