'Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind, or forgotten'. But who do we define as 'family'? is it necessarily the people who are related to us by DNA, or friends we've known for years?
Well, not according to the wholesome hooman in this sweet story, because to her, family also includes a sweet doggo she just met on a beach in Mexica, who needed her help to find a furrever home. Not only did this awwdorable woman decided to make this sick pup her 'Ohana', but she also refused to leave his side as she looked for ways to get him to cross the border back with her.
This pawsome pair found a way to get back to the US, where the hooman officially welcomed the now fully healthy doggo to the family, and got to help him gain more confidence and happiness, which is always a great sight to behold.
