Yesterday, a video of an adult man wearing short shorts in the snow near Barclays Center went viral. The video shows him lightly rushing while crossing the street, carrying either a gym bag or an overnight bag.

The internet was speculating about where he might be coming from or where he might be going. The general consensus was that it had to be either a shameful walk, if you know what I mean, or he was going to the gym.
I'm all for adult men embracing the middle school boy within. No dude has ever gone out in the snow in his shorts because there were literally no other options for him. They do it because they want to prove that they can, and that the snow isn't even that cold. Everyone else is being dramatic about it, but not dudes in shorts! They want the sensation of their legs freezing, and they want to be strong enough to handle it. After all, there are worse things in the world than being momentarily uncomfortable! Unless they're staying outside for an extended period, it's unlikely that such a journey will cause long-term damage to their bodies. Until a dude with whimsy in his heart gets seriously injured from briefly skipping in the snow in shorts, I will support the lads who take up the cause.
