There's nothing spookier than an overnight shift. Night workers are brave because you really never know what types of people you'll run into. Some customers might be looking for trouble, while others might want to scare the living daylights out of you. At a certain point, you can't even be mad when something unexpectedly strange happens, so long as you and the rest of your staff are safe. It's what makes the shift more interesting! Especially during the spookiest month of the year, guests like these remind us that the horror we see in movies can, in fact, be replicated in real life.
The employee in this Reddit story was working the night shift when they received a call around 4 AM. They answered, and what they heard on the other line left them bone-chilled. The employee expressed that he had been warned about this guest, who spoke in a very strange manner and requested weird things to be sent up to her room. Throughout the next hour, this employee will be bombarded with all things strange, maniacal, and most importantly, spooky. Legend has it, he's still waiting for her to come down from her hotel room.
