31 Nostalgic Technology Snapshots We All Have Stored in the Back of Our Collective Hard Drive

How did everything change so much, so fast? I still remember making a playlist of my favorite songs and using NERO to burn them onto a CD so I could listen to my music while driving. It couldn't have been that long ago because I already had my driver's license. Sure, when I went to school, I used to put my favorite songs on a cassette and listen to them on my Walkman, but that was a long time ago. Are you telling me it's already been 20 years since the days of the CD player?! Didn't we just move to streaming?

And the internet. I distinctly remember connecting to it. Like, I had to press "Connect to the Internet" and then wait for it to connect. Now we're all just constantly connected, all the time. And what happened to "websites"? I know we still have them, but we never 'surf the web' anymore to find new and exciting stuff. We just open social media and let it choose for us. Things sure have changed a lot!
