Welcome, women of the WWW. When I was in elementary school, a girl in my grade decided to spread the rumor that I do not have a liver. I don't know why she did that, and I cannot begin to fathom why exactly this rumor affected me so deeply as a third-grader, but for whatever reason, it was incredibly devastating. Other children would mock me, telling me I would never be able to drink as an adult. Some would poke me on my tummy and proclaim that they could feel the void where my liver should be. I wasn't sure how to handle this, but some time later, it came to my attention that the girl who had started this rumor still watched Barney. Her younger sister, who happened to be friends with my own sister, was the one to let slip. If you grew up in the 2000s, you must know that watching Barney in the third grade was considered incredibly uncool and immature. So, in retaliation, I told everyone at school about her dinosaur habit, causing her to be the talk of the elementary school town.
