Imagine landing an interview, doing all the necessary preparation, making the 30-minute journey for an in-person meeting, and arriving only to discover that you have suddenly been rejected. That's exactly what happened to this Redditor, who found out in the lobby of the popular hotel chain she was hoping to work at that she was suddenly no longer qualified. A person whom the original poster (OP) assumes was the manager scanned her resume for about 20 seconds and then denied her the interview that had been previously scheduled.
When the Redditor was on her way home from this unfortunate interaction, her sadness began to turn into justifiable rage. What's equally upsetting about this situation is the number of folks in the comments section who have found themselves in similar situations. This unprofessional behavior should not be tolerated. No wonder there are always vacancies at toxic workplace environments such as this one.
