In every marriage, each person has their role. Regardless of gender norms, each person has their strengths and helps their spouse with their weaknesses, thus creating a stronger, more united couple. However, this woman proved to be dead-weight in her relationship after repeatedly 'crying wolf' by calling her husband for every minor emergency. This grown woman can't even tackle the tiniest of battles during her day, but she knows her chivalrous husband will come running to every complaint… Well, not anymore, sister.
After dropping everything to help his wife with minor problems–getting a jar off of a high shelf, bringing a spare key because she locked herself out of the car, and dropping off her wallet because she left it at home–at a certain point, a man's gotta realize that he's being taken advantage of by a 29-year-old toddler. In this marriage, when every little obstacle had become impossible on her own, the husband decided it was time to remove himself from the equation, leaving this overly-dependent wife on her own to figure out her own messes.
