Woman Steals Sister’s Laptop to ‘Teach Her a Lesson,’ Causing Her to Miss an Important Work Deadline and Sabotaging Her Career

Everyone knows that if you travel to Italy or Spain, it is best to keep a very close watch on your belongings - especially in the metro - due to high levels of pickpocketing. That means that you should avoid putting your wallet or phone in your back pocket where they could be easily swiped when you're not paying attention. Your purse or backpack filled with important items like your phone, passport, wallet, and laptop, should be on you at all times. So, if you're sitting at a restaurant, you should keep your bag on your lap instead of on the seat next to you or hanging behind you on your chair, as you might do back home. Of course, pickpockets exist all over the world, and you should really be careful of strangers everywhere.
