There are always whispers of that one strict teacher in every school. It's the teacher who doesn't smile until May. Some of these teachers are the type who won't let students use the bathroom, or who punish the whole class for one kid's mistake. There are plenty of ways to be a strict teacher, and it often comes from years of frustration with students' behavior. It seems like some older teachers take this a bit too far, though. They start to barely tolerate any behavior that's outside their rulebook, and it can eventually become detrimental to the pupils, as u/georgilm shared in their story of malicious compliance.
You've probably had quite a few strict teachers in your life, and it's not often they get called out for the way they act. Usually, as they send kid after kid to the principal's office, the school administration will continually side with them. It takes a special kind of student to step in and protest that enough is enough. You can read about this person's experience down below.
Speaking of school, these people could use another round of K through 12 with their dumb questions, like one person who wondered aloud, "Why do we need farmers when we have supermarkets?"
