Just like humans, cats aren't going to like every other cat they see just because they are also a cat. You don't like every human you see, do you? That would be crazy. So cat owners know not to expect instant friendship when introducing new kittens into their home. It takes time and a lot of patience.
One cat mama recently went viral for the POV she posted of her cats' beautiful blossoming friendship. She noticed her cat seemed lonely, so she decided to rescue a kitten in need of a home to give her current cat a friend. She was prepared to do anything she could to get them to be besties. Luckily, all she needed to patience, which she had lots of! Though the cat didn't like the kitten at first and would swat and keep her distance from it, the kitten never gave up. The fearless kitten went to play with the cat over and over again, even if she would get bopped on the head by a paw.
Now, the two are inseparable and love each other very much. You can find them playing together, grooming each other, and cuddling asleep. It's epic cuteness and you have to check it out below!
