Is there anything as versatile as the humble potato? It may not look like much, but it holds thousands of untold secrets. You don't need me to tell you how many ways a potato can be prepared. Odds are, you've experienced many of them, from the gratin to the Lays. You've eaten them with butter, you've eaten them with salt. You've eaten them with cheese, and you've eaten them with ketchup. You've had them at breakfast, at lunch, at dinner, and at 3 am when you've come home from a night out and you really need a fistful of fries. You've probably eaten more potatoes than you can wrap your head around. You might have even peeled more than you can remember, on Thanksgiving days in the company of your cousins.
