Every now and then, someone hits me with that classic, eye-roll-worthy question: "Are you still playing video games?" My answer? A big, resounding "Absolutely!" Why would I ever stop? At what point in life are we supposed to stop having fun, stop finding new challenges, or stop connecting with friends across the globe while exploring incredible virtual worlds? Video games are an amazing way to unwind, test yourself, and even keep your mind sharp. Plus, they're just plain fun—don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
My first game was the classic "Pong," and right now, I'm wrapping up the delightful adventure of The Plucky Squire (such a cute and clever game). Between those two games, spanning about 40 years, the gaming world has grown, changed, and evolved in ways no one could have imagined back then. So, when will I stop playing video games? Never. As long as there are new experiences to discover, challenges to conquer, and fun to be had, I'll keep playing.
