You should be able to put clear boundaries where needed, and to share your feelings, however vulnerable, with them. If you feel like you can't even speak up about your basic desires, wants, needs, and feelings, then there's no point in continuing the relationship. It will never go anywhere if you feel like you're silenced, or your feelings aren't respected. 

In this Reddit thread, it centers around a newly wed couple. As they're planning their honeymoon, the husband tells the wife that he's thinking of inviting his best friend and his wife. The woman puts her foot down, saying she's not comfortable with that, and that she wants it to be just the two of them. To her shock, when they arrive at their hotel on the first night of their honeymoon, she sees the other couple. Do I hear annulment?
