Every now and then, an artist comes along and creates something so simple yet so creative, it makes me wonder why no one has ever done it before. I mean, we've all laid on our backs, looking at the clouds overhead, letting our imagination run wild and seeing turtles, cars, dragons, or babies. But for some reason, I've never seen an artist take pictures of clouds and just paint in the missing details. Well, until now.
Chris Judge started drawing on clouds during the lockdown in 2020. He took the cloud pictures his daughter snapped and began doodling on them, adding faces, arms, tails, teeth, etc. Since then, he has been posting daily to his Instagram page @adailycloud, where he brings these clouds to life in a fun and whimsical way. You can also head over to his website to buy prints of your favorite cloud or purchase the Daily Cloud calendar.
