It's no surprise that med students have a rough time in school. Being a future life-saver is pretty important business, especially because you can't just whip out a textbook in the ER or at the private practice you'll be working out of. I'm sure you can agree, however, that the job is very rewarding. The smiles on your patients' faces when they see their family after a successful procedure are well worth the mental anguish medical school unleashes upon you. Now, that's not the only thing. Without saying too much: $$$$.
