Whenever a dog does the most simple thing, it's innately wholesome. Think about it - if a dog runs towards you, this is a wholesome moment that'll make your week. If a bear runs towards you, you'll remember this as the frightening time when you survived a bear running towards you, not as a wholesome experience. If a dog jumps on you, even if they're Big Boys™, it's an adorable moment filled with wholesomeness. But if an opossum jumps on you from a trash, this is unwholesome moment and you'll probably call pest control.
Because dogs don't need to do much to radiate wholesomeness wherever they are, it's no wonder so many dog memes exist across all our online spaces. We like seeing dogs being wholesome even when they are totally silly billies and memeable. Dog memes are like a remedy for a broken soul, and we recommend a dose of wholesome dog memes daily.
