Having entitled neighbors is bad enough when the extent of their torment is arguing about who gets the parking spot on the curb closest to their home. Sure, maybe a neighbor parking in your driveway while you're not home is bothersome, too. But when you get a package-stealing neighbor? They're actively taking money out of your front pocket. This is when, in the original poster's words, you have to get "a little creative."
The OP of this story has seen his neighbor eye the packages he gets delivered to his doorstep. He's even caught the neighbor in the act, taking the deliveries that would never be seen again. Instead of escalating the issue with the authorities, the OP starts packing up his own special deliveries, ones that are filled with junk like old receipts, broken pens, and other miscellaneous garbage items. When the neighbor took the bait, the OP saw the neighbor throw the special delivery in the garbage. OP continued to carry out his creative mission, resulting in the (hopeful) end of his neighbor's sticky finger behavior.
