There is truly nothing that compares to the rush of a Friday afternoon. You feel the hours ticking down until you're set free into the world, able to use your time how you wish. And then when quitting time strikes, you walk out of your workplace feeling lighter and more optimistic. The weekend lies in front of you, and anything is possible. You could see your friends and bake a pie and finally write that novel, or you could just spend all day rotting in bed, watching Netflix and ignoring texts.
