Anyone who doesn't think that Halloween is the best holiday is lying to themselves. Halloween has something for every age: kids get to Trick or Treat, teens go to haunted houses & watch scary movies, and adults get to party the night away. The consistency across all ages during Halloween is that you get to transform into something else through the power of costuming. What could be more novel than that? Christmas is fun…for the kids. I'd say about 75% of the hot takes I hear about Christmastime from adults are either complaining about the inconveniences of the holiday or conveying wistful nostalgia for what it was like during their childhood. You never hear that about Halloween.
