'An “excuse me” wouldn't be difficult': Impatient customer hollers at employee and quickly gets put in their place by both the manager and fellow customer in line

When you are taking on a Karen in the midst of starting a tantrum, it's scary to approach it alone. Especially if you are the innocent employee the Karen is directing their anger towards, because what if she actually does get you fired? The best case scenario is that everyone around you is on your side and have your back. Then it's much easier to put her or him in their place. 

This employee was recently made manager at the place she had been working at for 2 years. She took her duties very seriously and had no patience for customers making her employee's lives any more difficult than they have to be.
