There are so many ways to be an incompetent partner. You could constantly say that you need your other half to write a list of chores for you to do instead of using your eyeballs to see what parts of your house are dirty. You could ask them to pay for everything even if you make more money than them or to split the $3000 rent evenly when you make $200,000 and they make $40,000. While those things are bad, they aren't as blatantly cruel as what the woman at the center of this story went through. She cooked special meals for herself before she had stomach surgery. She has a lot of health issues and needs this special food during the weeks post-op. She also made meals specifically for her son and husband, but apparently, that didn't matter. Her husband decided to eat the food she prepped and didn't understand why that would upset her.
