One restaurant greeter learned a valuable lesson about how people should treat them in a work setting.
When you start your first job, you don't exactly know how you're supposed to be treated by management. Some places yell at their workers, others are passive-aggressive towards them, and others have super strict rules that they stick by no matter what. Your first job teaches you a lot… so by the time you get your second job, you're a little wiser and more experienced.
This person was holding two jobs at the same time. This is quite common in the food service and retail industries: even with higher minimum wages, lots of people need to work way more than 40 hours per week to get by. Many workers will pick up a night shift and a day shift each day, coordinating between the two jobs to avoid any overlap.
That's why it's so surprising that this manager decided to talk down to his employees about their second job! Is he new here, does he not know how common this is? Check out the full story below and see for yourself.
After that, read about some people who aren't great at spelling, so they sounded it out, with some very funny results, like one person who labeled their delicious chocolate desserts as "Browinese."
