This family man was completely flummoxed when he paid cash for his order after his server boldly suggested he should leave more than his original tip. Because, apparently the standard 18% gratuity which is automatically included on nearly every bill nowadays was not enough.
If you've ever worked as a server, you get it---tips are really important to your income. However, nowadays, servers are no longer completely reliant on tips to bring home the bacon yet there's an enormous amount of pressure on customers to leave a tip for everything. But that brings us to an even more important question: Should we be leaving tips for effectively completing the tasks in your job description? Or should tips be directly correlated to your upstanding service?
Well, when the family in this next story decided to go out for a meal at a restaurant, they were faced with an entitled server who apparently thought that their average work performance deserved more than a standing ovation.
