If a teenager wants to do something, they'll find the most creative ways to do it.
Teenagers are simply unstoppable. Whether it's their parents, guardians, or teachers telling them not to do something, they can't be deterred. Things feel extra dramatic to them at that age: if they can't go out with their friend group, some teens act like it's the end of the world. Missing out on a group shopping trip because they're grounded is cause for a full-scale meltdown.
For u/Quitthesht, being denied a night out with their friends was cause for some major irritation. Even though they'd told their parents days in advance that they wanted to see their friends, their dad decided on the day of that it was time for the teen to organize the woodpile. Dad dumped an entire trailer's worth of wood pieces in the driveway, and told his teen to stack is before going out with friends. As you can imagine, this teen was quite unhappy to hear that. They decided to maliciously comply with the request, which you can read all about down below.
After that, read about some eye-opening thrift and vintage shopping experiences, like one person who couldn't believe that the "local thrift store decided… to use staples for clothing tags."
