Happy meowrning, cat people! And welcome back to the cutest, most wholesomest, sweetest segment that you will find on the internet. If you need to smile on this fabulous Friday, then you have come to the right place, because it is officially time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Each and every Friday morning, we bring you a brand new collection of cat adoption stories. Because we want to step into Caturday on the right paw, and the only correct way to do that is with a smile. And if there is one thing that can always make us smile, no matter what is happening around us, it's a whole bunch of cats finding their forever homes.
As we do every week, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who adopted this week or in the past. And, of course, an extra warm thank you goes to everyone who adopted the "impurrfect" cats - the senior cats, the sick cats, the rehomed cats, and every cat who might need a little more love and care than most. You are their furrever heroes, and you deserve all the thanks in the world.

"I've posted a few times about my first ever foster kittens - a litter of 6 tuxedos that I found with their feral mom in my parents' back yard… The first two kittens went home a few days ago. The second two are going home tomorrow. The two remaining kittens happen to be the ones I am most attached to and they're the ones I've been talking myself out of adopting the entire 7 weeks I've had them… I was adamant when I took these kittens in that we were absolutely not keeping any, because I prefer older, lower energy pets.
But....we had an application to adopt through another rescue and were planning to go to the shelter the same day we found the kittens. It seems like the cat distribution system was hard at work here and although it was not my original plan, I saved 6 little kittens and their mom, and now I'm keeping two to love for the rest of their lives."
"She still had her placenta attached when I found her, about 2 weeks prior to the first picture. There were zero signs of any other kittens or momma cat which was very unusual. The local shelter said they would take her but due to her age they would have put her down immediately, because they had no fosters or nursing mothers readily available and she wouldn't have survived shelter life at that size anyhow. They further strongly recommended I don't attempt to save her and instead opt for the euthanasia, reiterating that her chances of survival with the conditions she was in were DISMAL at best, just absolutely dismal which seemed pretty bleak.
Nothing ventured nothing gained and if she was gonna die anyhow... youtubed how to cut her umbilical cord, started bottle feeding her, she seems pretty determined to stay in this world so, I finally decided to name her-Dizzy."
"I was walking home at night when I heard a screech in the middle of the avenue. I went closer and it stopped making noise and I couldn't find it in the middle of the night. But I saw an aloe move and under the roots I found it. He already has teeth and eats wet food. Fortunately we were able to give him up for adoption and he found his forever home."
"After we lost our last pug a month ago, we decided it was time to let another cat bring us home after 14 years since our tuxedo, Dickens, passed. Eddy has brought so much love already. An adoption that has gone swimmingly so far!"
