After discovering a local stray cat living near his garage door, the man started to befriend the wary kitty with treats, coaxing, and the occasional psspsspss, but when he saw that she was pregnant, he realized that the clock was ticking for this ever-growing mama-to-be. Knowing that cat pregnancies can be dangerous for the mom in the wild, he tried to lure her into the comforts of home, using a makeshift shelter he created from a couple of large plastic bins and a little elbow grease.

Over the course of a few days, the man earned the trust of the mama cat and she even let him start picking her up. This cat loving couple decided that they should bring the stray inside their home for the duration of her purregnancy so that she's as safe as possible.
Within two weeks of coming inside, mama kitty had 5 healthy kittens, eager to start their new lives in a warm, cozy home. They'll never be strays outside like their mom was.
Although the birth was still a challenge, mama cat had the support and the love surrounding her to pull it off.
After a week, the kittens were almost the same size as their tiny stray mom! With time, they'll be much bigger, but for now, they're living the life alongside a man who's dedicated his life to rescuing cats and reminding them that they are loved dearly.
