Whenever I tell people I still enjoy scrolling through Tumblr, I get one of these two responses – Either 'Oh wow, I didn't know Tumblr still existed', or 'What is Tumblr?', and be sure that both answers make me feel extremely old.
But it is true, unlike other social media platforms, Tumblr has always been this niche platform that existed in the dark side of the internet. Although the funny thing is that the people who are on Tumblr actually like it this way, and would rather it stay this unique space that very few people are aware of.
That being said, I do believe that some gems on there have to be shared with the rest of the world, as they are just too good to stay at the corner of the internet. There is humor that is simply unmatched by any other, and it is unfair to keep it to ourselves.
