Being the best friend of the bride is no easy task. Especially when they decide that you won't be one of their bridesmaids, but tell you lies to soften the blow. The woman in this story did not take part in her friend's bridal party for this exact reason. Her friend told her the bridal party would be small, about five people, and though the woman was hurt, she didn't want to be unsupportive.
