Woman Demands Friends Reimburse Her After She’s Unable to Join Vacation Trip, They Refuse, Causing Tension in the Friendship

To finally execute the fantasies in your head about a place, and know that you've worked hard for the vacation is a great feeling. You're filled with excitement about the idea that you're finally making it abroad. When this doesn't go to plan, things could get complicated. 

In this Reddit thread, these friends have been planning this trip for a while. They all put in the money, split everything up, booked their flight and Airbnb, and they were all at the airport. One friend in particular was unable to board the plane, and truthfully it was her own fault. The others still went on the flight and vacation, rightfully so. But instead of buying another ticket, the one who stayed behind demanded they reimburse her when they returned.
