It takes a lot of thought and preparation to quit a job… usually. If you want to ensure a smooth transition into a new career (and let's face it, if you want to buy groceries and pay the electric bill), you'll need to job hunt, interview, and then accept a new job you find promising.
This is easier said than done—it can take months or even years to discover a job worth accepting. It only takes one minute to rage-quit a job, however, as these people below explained. For some, planning their quitting day was elaborate. Others spent months being pushed to their breaking points, like one person who was running an entire laundromat while also being berated constantly. There's also one random person with ADHD who just quit their job because they were "bored at that moment." I mean, that's as chaotic as it gets, but it just goes to show that the only real reason you need to quit a job is to make yourself happy.
