If you grew up in the early 2000s, odds are you've wanted to go to the moon just so you could take a slice of it and see if it was actually cheese. Wallace and Gromit was one of those oddball DVDs that we all somehow had in our TV consoles as a kid. Like many, I was captivated by Wallace's folksy English accent, Gromit's expressive eyes, and the off-kilter way they were animated. It even inspired me to buy some polymer clay and experiment with little stop-motion animation films.
Wallace and Gromit is also one of those pieces of children's media that was way scarier than it needed to be. I remember that evil penguin striking the utmost fear into my little heart. It probably still would. And then I could look at these memes to help me calm down, that remind me of that weird little British show from my childhood.
