It's amazing to think of the things that most of us take for granted that a select part of the population has very little exposure to. For example: not everywhere has any buildings that rise over two stories. While not everybody gets to walk among the skyscrapers in Manhattan, that's a pretty crazy thought for most of us, right? Yet that is just the life that some people lead.
With this comes the revelation that there are some people who go many years of their life without ever using something like an escalator. This is especially true for the people of Wyoming, as the sparsely populated state only boasts two in its nearly 100,000 square miles. This was the subject of a wholesome Twitter thread, where Wyomingites and people from other remote places shared their experiences of seeing an escalator for the first time. Those moving stairs are a sight to behold.
