Welcome back introverts alike. It's the perfect era to be introverted if you think about it. With technology and smartphones there's endless hours to spare alone without the susceptibility to boredom. I know there's nothing better than a night alone, in bed, string lights lit, cat beside me, while I binge my favorite anime or get engrossed in a great video game.
I don't think I'm alone basking in the enjoyment and freedom of solitude. It can be the best feeling to just spend time with yourself. There's no need to force yourself into social interactions when you're not in the mood, so why bother? All you need is a good book, movie, game, or cat to keep you company. Instead of overbooking your week with social plans, stay in and make yourself a bowl of warm ramen noodles, have a bath, and give your cat all the attention he or she deserves.
