Working Mom Is Fed up With Helpless Husband’s Laziness, Feels Like a Single Mother to Her Three Children and a Maid to Her Husband: ‘I do everything’

Same old story, different woman.

I don't know when we're going to retire the idea that women are the sole parents and providers for a couple's children, but I say it needs to end. You get so many stories from women complaining about the same helpless husband, refusing to lend a helping hand in taking care of the children or at the very least, themselves. Hubby dearest can fill up his own water bottle and can be on lunch duty for the kids every so often. There is no excuse for the husband in this story because this mom also works a full-time job.

This is more of a venting post than a story with a conclusive ending, but we're hoping the mother in this story makes her husband see how much she does for the kids, and how he should be doing the same. The husband is displaying a classic case of weaponized incompetence, wherein the woman ultimately ends up doing everything for the sake of it seeming easier. Women shouldn't have to beg for help with the children two people created.
