This Talented Artist Illustrated 112 Elements as People to Make Learning More Fun and Engaging

This is our favorite type of geekiness—when you take one passion (in this case, chemistry) and combine it perfectly with another passion you possess (character design), mashing them together to create something that is not only visually striking but also creative and educational. Artist Kacie D. beautifully combined her two passions by creating personal illustrations for 112 elements in the periodic table (why she didn't do the last six? We have no idea). Each illustration depicts the element as if it were a person (or at least a human-shaped entity), and the designs are absolutely wonderful!

Although this project was completed back in 2015, we only discovered it now, and we're thrilled that we did. On her website, Kacie D. sells these illustrations as coloring books and flashcards, allowing kids from all around the world to learn about the elements that make up our universe in a fun and interactive way.
