The time has come yet again. The most unlucky and arguably, spookiest day of the year. In past years, I wasn't aware of the fact that it was Friday the 13th until the morning of Saturday the 14th. This year, I watched the calendar like a hawk so I would be prepared to avoid going under ladders and steer clear of black cats.
Besides the day being considered an unlucky one, it also shares the same name with Friday the 13th, a classic slasher flick that we all know and love. Jason Vorhees, the man that he is, takes to lake houses and wreaks havoc on what he considers unpure teens to avenge his younger self. I'm not sure that he is considered the hero of the flick, but who's to say?
If you've made some spooky plans this Friday the 13th, just remember to be extra careful. You wouldn't want to risk anything on the unluckiest day of the year…
