'Do not interrupt me! I am the customer and the customer is always right': Customer service rep lets enraged customer waste her own time while she berates them

This customer decided to throw a huge fit at the exact the wrong time. Not that there's a right time for a customer to throw a fit… Unless you're a literal toddler or baby, no one is going to care about your hissy fit. You've got to "use your words," as we teach children. When you're an adult, you're expected to act like one, yet so many adults just have total meltdowns when they're faced with issues that require them to talk to customer service reps.

Customer service reps should get a lot of credit for dealing with adults who are already super cranky. They're usually calling because they've tried everything in their power to fix the issue, and calling customer service is their "final straw" moment. It seems like this person, u/Fallen-and-Burning, has an excellent way to handle their most irate customers. As a rep for a gas company, they field a lot of unhappy folks, and some of them just need to rant and rave. This person spent 40 minutes having a peaceful time while this person went on and on, as you can read about below.
