If there is one thing we know about cats, it's that they will do whatever they please. No matter how much they love their hooman beans, a cat will always do what a cat wants to do. And, if that means occasionally venturing over to the neighbor's house for some extra cuddles and snackies, then that's exactly what they will do. This furrnomenon has a name - it's called the 'not my cat' furrnomenon.
A 'not my cat' is a cute fluffy feline that frequents your house even though you are not its owner. Heck, you might not even have a cat at all, and yet you randomly wake up to find a cat sleeping in your bed. Purrsonally, we appreciate these hissterical meowments when a random cat shows up, in fact, we wish they would happen more often! Enjoy this silly series of naughty neighbor cats who just walked into our houses like they owned the place. They prrrobably do own the place. It's a cat's world, and we're all just living in it!

Well, you're right, you don't own a cat, but this cat owns you. And your house. Clearly, he is sleeping on his furniture (it has the word 'fur' in it, so it's his prrroperty), he's just letting you use it when he's not around. Now pipe down, will you? He's trying to get some beauty sleep.
Well, you can't just leave an open box lying around and not expect a cat to get in it. Everyone knows that that is the #1 way to catch a cat. Wild or domestic.
