How come there's no Dungeons & Dragons VR game? I mean, I know you can play Skyrim in VR and there are tabletop simulations in VR, but I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about a full-on Dungeons & Dragons campaign in virtual reality—one that you play with a group of friends, each wearing their own VR headset. You each pick a character and then just go out on an adventure in a huge open world.
What I think would be most hilarious about a game like this is that the combat would be in real-time and based on your actual abilities. Meaning, if you swing your sword with the wizard standing right next to you, you could accidentally kill him.
I feel like this would take the game from "What if we were brave warriors and cunning rogues" to "What if a bunch of idiots like us were thrust into a world filled with monsters." Someone make that game!
