Customers aren't always right, but they're happy to be confidently wrong.
This person worked at an ice cream parlor as a teenager, which is a typical first job for many kids. U/chsser writes that they generally enjoyed the role, but they had a few regulars who had zero patience. At any restaurant, there are bound to be delays, and you might even get the wrong order from time to time. If you're a regular, it'll probably happen to you eventually. The person antagonizing this teen was a regular to the ice cream shop. Every day, he'd show up and order a strawberry milkshake. Every single day! This guy didn't mind waiting for a while… it seems like he spent a lot of time hanging around, as if he didn't have other people in his life to spend quality time with.
Some customers have a weird need to control these poor workers. They love to get their food remade. Nothing is ever good enough for them. They will take their freshly made food, and then insist the worker remake it. It wastes food and it wastes time, and like… is having food that's 15 seconds fresher really worth all that hassle?
After that, read about a bunch of arbitrary rules that seemingly make zero sense, like one person who discovered a rule declaring, "No Oreos in the library."
