2-year-old girl screams in terror at the sight of her own shadow, parents fruitlessly try to desensitize her: 'It's a shadow, it walks with you'

Kids are afraid of everything. In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Greg was fearful that Shel Silverstein would come into his room and get him, but that's because his dad told him that would happen if he got up in the middle of the night. While some parents create and enable their kid's fears, most seek to help them overcome them, and if that means checking under the bed every night for eight years, that's what they've got to do. 

But what do you do when your child's fears are beyond irrational? What if they're the poster child for a scared cat, literally afraid of their own shadow? That's the situation two parents found themselves in with their 2-year-old daughter. This little girl screams and runs away when she sees her shadow, which makes her even more nervous because the shadow tends to follow her where she runs. It's equal parts adorable, sad, and hilarious.
