'The world has one less HOA': Homeowner infiltrates the HOA board, gets elected president, and then dismantles the entire system from the inside

HOAs are a behemoth adversary, but that didn't stop u/Needhelpnowwhat from devising a plan to take them down. For the sake of protecting his beloved roosters, the original poster (OP) of this story heroically did what every homeowner wishes they had the gaul to do–he wiped out an entire HOA board. 

But how do you take down a monster larger than yourself? Like Hercules and the giant sea monster, sometimes the only way you can slay a beast is by getting swallowed up in its bowels.

After a little over a year of homeownership in his new neighborhood, OP and his partner started noticing a few HOA nuances that were frankly ruining the neighborhood. Although their annual fees were meager, the $350/year went to the 'maintenance' of a tiny shed on the property where the HOA would conduct their business. Apart from that, the HOA served no purpose but to harass the homeowners who owned the properties in their neighborhood. However, when OP's chickens were threatened by the power-hungry HOA board, he decided to take matters into his own hands by diving into the belly of the beast to take them down from the inside.
