Nothing like an HOA board member making their life's purpose about you. Can you imagine you are finally able to afford your own home, you become a property owner, and then some random person tells you that you can't paint it the color you want to paint it? That's what HOAs seem to be the best at controlling.
For this particular homeowner on Reddit, they were actually approved by the HOA board to paint their house black. Even though many consider that a neutral color, though sometimes not very savvy temperature-wise, some people see black-painted houses as "strange." Sure, it's a little goth-looking, but it's unique in a way that's easy on the eyes. So let people live, right? Wrong. Even though the HOA approved their paint color, one Karen member decided they were all wrong. She is now on a rampage to get the HOA board to retract their approval or resign as an HOA member. Like, sit down, Karen, go get a hobby or something. Read the entire situation below!
