'He follows mama cat everywhere': House Cat Brings Itty Bitty Kitten Home, Adopts It and Welcomes It to the Family With Open Paws

The thing about itty bitty kittens… everyone finds them cute, not just us humans. Everyone. Because despite the fact that kittens are criminals - and yes, they are, we have proof, like the fact that kittens have stolen our hearts - everyone seems to want one. We adopt kittens all the time. Everyone who does thinks that kittens will be the purrfect pets - because they're tiny and energetic and absolutely awwdorable. But dogs like adopting kittens too, and even cats, the older, grumpier versions of kittens, like adopting kittens of their own.

It could be a sibling thing, maybe it's a parent or friend thing. Every pair of cat and kitten has its own dynamic, but no matter which dynamic it is, the bond between the two is incredibly strong. When a cat adopts a kitten, it is a rare and beautiful thing, and when that happens, we humans, have no choice but to adopt and provide for the second cat as well.

We're obsessed with cats that do this. Bringing other animals home. They don't ask us, they don't care what we think, they just do it. They make a friend, and as far as they are concerned, that means that the friend gets to come home with them.

And you can really see the love between the two of these. You can see that this is an older sibling who adopted a younger one. You can see it in the way that the cat cleans the kitten and refuses to let it go until it's done. If you have siblings, you can see it, the love in that small action.
