There are three ways to shake up our lives in the workplace: Go on vacation, rage quit onsite, or dissociate completely while thinking about your fluffy feline at home. As our cats wait for us in the window sill, we hoomans are busy clocking in, grabbing groceries, and purrforming other humanoid chores that a cat would never even sneeze at.
Cats live a life of purriviledge at the hands of their hooman servants. While we receive infinite comfort, love, and affection from the feline beasts we've tamed and brought inside, does our cat feel fulfilled in their connection with us? Do we hoomans offer the same peace of mind for our cats? I'd like to think that my feline heaves a sigh of relief every time I come back in through that front door. I drop everything I'm carrying, run to her like she's the apple of my eye, and scoop the floof into my arms with glee. That heartwarming kitty hug is what cat lovers look forward to every day!
So even though the hooman world may seem meownotinous, remember that your best friend and feline confidante awaits your return back in your human enclosure, scouring the windows for your safe return and meowing with glee when they see a familiar face.
