Technicians scolded by micromanaging boss for using inefficient machinery, they maliciously comply and cause corporate profits to plummet

Micromanagers who continue to enforce unrealistic expectations are likely to experience disappointment and pushback. After all, there are only so many hours in the day. Frequently, these individuals believe in antiquated ideas like paying your dues. They also love to enforce rules and procedures that they themselves do not follow. Perhaps they feel that they have earned the right to be this way, but the reality of the situation is that their warped sense of authority is only going to make things worse for everyone involved from the employees to the health of the company itself.

This group of technicians was chastised for having trouble using machinery that had not been operated on for eight to nine months. Since they are often encouraged to prioritize efficiency above all else, taking the time to make the machine perfect again would cause a major dip in productivity. Therefore, the team thought it would be a good idea to delay their repairs until after an important project was complete. However, after getting berated by their boss, they decided to enact some petty revenge.
